The Steadfast Foundation

The Steadfast Foundation

The Steadfast Foundation is in its 14th year and the New Zealand Steadfast Foundation is in its 7th year. Steadfast created the Steadfast Foundation to facilitate grants and charitable contributions that support charities helping people to overcome adversity, with $825,000 donated during FY2 to charities.

Since its inception, the Steadfast Foundation has donated over $9m to registered charities. The Steadfast Foundation portal is a workplace giving platform that enables Steadfast staff to participate and engage in the Foundation's mission. The portal enables all staff to easily take part in regular workplace giving and make pre-tax salary donations. For every dollar donated by staff, Steadfast Group Ltd will match contributions dollar for dollar, capped at an annual total of $100,000. Charities are often chosen based on the recommendations of Steadfast brokers, and include cancer research and support, mental health, children’s causes and charities supporting victims of domestic violence, the homeless and disadvantaged.

If you are a charity and would like to be considered for grants or donations from the Steadfast Foundation, you will need to submit an application form which will be evaluated by the Steadfast Foundation Board. The Board will review your request and evaluate its alignment with the Foundation principles.
The Steadfast Foundation provides brokers and staff with the opportunity to support the causes closest to their hearts with grants and fundraising initiatives. If you have a charity or cause that you would like to put forward for consideration, please email yvetteb@steadfast.com.au

In addition to these donations each year, the Steadfast Foundation selects a nominated recipient charity for the Annual Steadfast Convention. The 2023 Steadfast Convention charity was Breast Cancer Care WA and the generosity of our industry partners helped us to raise $400,000 for the charity.
If you have a charity or cause that you would like to put forward to the Foundation Board for consideration, please email grants@steadfast.com.au.
The Steadfast Foundation is governed by the Steadfast Foundation Board, who are responsible for reviewing all grant applications and make funding decisions for the benefit of the community and in alignment with the philosophy of the Foundation.

As well as the ongoing activities of the Steadfast Foundation, Steadfast brokers and partners help to raise funds each year on behalf of a special nominated charity at the annual Steadfast Convention.

In 2024, Steadfast Convention attendees donated more than $356k to Orange Sky Australia – a charity that helps bring clean clothes to people doing it tough.

To find out more about our corporate social responsibility, review the Corporate Governance Statement 2021.

Each year, the Steadfast Foundation, assisted by our brokers and partners, chooses a charity from the city in which the Steadfast Convention is held. At our 2025 Convention, we are extremely excited to announce that we raised over $525,000 for Free 3D Hands.

Applications for the 2026 Charity Convention partner are now closed.
